Techne Inc contracted with the Transcat Primary Temperature calibration laboratory to perform an inter-laboratory proficiency test. The goal was to verify
and provide to Techne Inc customers it's level of temperature calibration
proficiency. Transcat is an A2LA accredited calibration facility.
Techne Inc performs ITS90 calibrations by comparison
method using SPRT's that are calibrated by Fixed point. Using the following test procedure and M&TE Techne Inc
calibrated an SPRT and generated ITS90 calibration constants. These
constants were entered into Transcat's Primary thermometer and the degrees C
data observed was recorded for each of the ITS90 fixed points as shown
below. Techne's asset number 1004 162CE SPRT s/n: 4619 was calibrated for
this test.
