Techne Inc Compliance with Quality standards
|
You state compliance to ISO-9000, 17025 and ANSI Z-540. I have heard that compliance is not the same or not as good as being accredited. What is the difference?
When
any company states compliance to a quality standard, they still do
maintain quality documentation and traceability of calibrations. Techne
has a full quality manual, quality procedures and supporting documentation
and records—this is how we maintain compliance. Our calibration and
service costs reflect the cost savings Techne realizes by not being
audited by accrediting bodies. We have been, and always will be, open to
any customer audit – whether on site or by vendor audit
survey/questionnaire. By sending Techne a vendor audit/survey, evaluating
those statements and requesting any documentation to show traceability,
and, if chosen, compare our calibration or service to in-house standards
you can realize a significant cost savings by using a compliant rather
than accredited company. Techne has a trained quality auditor on staff
with extensive ISO experience. (Hit the back button on your browser to see the link to our Profiency testing on the Calibration Services page.) Try Techne’s calibration services once & see why our customers keep coming back! |
