Ion Meters

There are currently 2 Ion Meters available from Techne, the Model 3205 Portable Ion/pH Meter, and the Model 3345 Laboratory Ion/pH Meter. A brief summary of the instruments is outlined below, but further details can be found on any instrument by following the link to the instruments individual page.
The Model 3205 portable Ion/pH Meter Analysis package provides a system that is dedicated to the rapid, easy and reliable determination of six ions which are of particular interest to those involved in water analysis and environmental testing. A selection of Combination Ion Selective Electrodes are available for use with the Model 3205 , and are unusual in that they have very predictable temperature characteristics making it possible to incorporate accurate Automatic Temperature Compensation algorithms into the software. Ion Selective Electrodes are available as half-cells (mono) and combination electrodes where the reference is built into the probe. Mono electrodes require the use of an additional reference electrode. The Combination Ion Selective Electrodes available are Ammonium, Calcium, Chloride, Fluoride, Nitrate and Nitrite. The Model 3205 Ion/pH Meter can read between -2 and +16.00pH and utilizes a 114 x 128 dot matrix Liquid Crystal Display.
The Model 3345 Ion/pH meter is a sophisticated laboratory unit offering a host of valuable features, but retaining simplicity of operation. Important measurement features include the ability to operate both channels completely independently, simultaneous display of readings and temperature on both channels, and independent indication of stable readings. Details of the last calibration for each sensor are provided and all logged results and calibration routines are date and time stamped, thus satisfying the requirements of G.L.P.
