How to put a bath system together

     For the convenience of using our Thermoregulators in your open bath a clamp is included that will allow you to mount the unit any edge less than 1 inch thick. The minimum operating temperature for a Thermoregulators in an open bath is  ambient temperature plus 5 degrees C with the maximum being dependent on the particular model. When ordering one of our unheated baths for use with a Thermoregulators, remember that the required bridge plate is included thus eliminating the need for the clamp. Obviously, bath size and liquid affects the actual working temperature range. One should always use a liquid other than water for operating temperatures above 90ēC and below 5ēC. Various styles of lids are available to cover the bath opening. We suggest the use of hollow polypropylene balls on top of the bath to prevent thermal losses and keep evaporation down.
If your application requires sub-ambient operation, either our Dip or Flow Cooler would be needed. An alternative to the Dip and Flow coolers would be the use of our refrigerated bath. The advantage here is that the bath portion is built into the unit thereby eliminating the need for an unheated bath. To get the best stability and uniformity from your bath system we highly recommend our bath fluids.
