Model 9150 & 9200 Dissolved Oxygen Meters

The Model 9150 and 9200 Dissolved Oxygen Meters, part of the Premier Portable range, are fully specified units combining ease of use and robust construction. Utilizing a Clark type polar graphic membrane electrode optimized for both speed of response and the ability to withstand the rigors of portable use, dissolved oxygen measurements can be made either as % saturation or as concentration in mg/l (ppm). The DO₂ sensor incorporates a precision temperature measuring device which determines and displays the temperature of the analyte and automatically corrects for the changes in membrane permeability and oxygen solubility which occur with variations in temperature. Calibration is a simple push-button operation carried out in the % saturation mode with clear instructions given via the graphics display.

Salinity correction is necessary when concentration measurements are being made in brackish or saline environments. Provision is made on this instrument for this correction to be made using salinity (g/l) or conductivity data. Both units are equally at home in a laboratory environment and powerful in-built software is dedicated to the Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) determination. The meters offer the facility to download data held in memory to a printer or computer. These units incorporate a bi-directional infra-red link which ensures that the waterproof characteristics of the products can be maintained at all times. The infra-red link operates in conjunction with the optional interface cradle, allowing data interchange without the inconvenience of plugs and sockets.
