Interchangeable Blocks
All Techne® thermal cyclers have interchangeable blocks
available to suit 0.2ml micro tubes and 0.5ml microcentrifuge tubes. Additionally, the
TC412 and TC512 have interchangeable blocks for 96 well
microplates and a flat plate block for microscope slides.

Hi-Temp 96 Microplates

Techne® 's revolutionary Hi-Temp 96 microplates are
constructed from thin, flexible polycarbonate to withstand the rigorous demands of today's
laboratory. They are designed for use in the TC412 and TC512
thermal cyclers for rapid heating and cooling of samples over the temperature range 0°C
to 125°C. Excellent thermal transfer is maintained throughout and there is
no warping even at high temperatures and no leaching of potentially inhibitory organic
compounds. The wells have a maximum of 170ul. Catalog

Manufactured from polycarbonate these thin wall plates give
25 wells which have a maximum capacity of 200µl per well. Suitable for

Gene Well Chambers
